James Bruce

Old Deer: A local scene

Richard left Old Deer and married an Esther Kitching in Norton, Yorkshire on 11 February 1841 when he was 33 years old, following which he moved to York where he was a coachman.
By 1861 he was a publican running The Grey Horse Inn in Elvington, near York.
They both died in York in 1870.
They had three children, John James Bruce 1843, Richard Charles Bruce 1846 and Mary Ann Bruce in 1853.

I would appreciate if any family connections could contact me with a view of expanding the family history on my Scottish ancestors.
